Atascadero Colony Days - October 18, 2008

      

Our branch participated in the Atascadero Colony Days celebration
and portrayed the socially responsible women of Atascadero who
were active in promoting the change that brought about the right
for women to vote.  Dressed in period clothing, we walked in the
parade along side vintage cars, had a tent in Tent City, and recited
women's suffrage poetry while circulating petitions to gather male
signatures for the successful voting rights campaign.

PAST EVENTS:  2008 Branch Planning Retreat:

   

On Saturday, July 20, eleven board members met from 10 AM
to 3 PM to develop an action plan to execute the branch mission 
for the 2008-2009 fiscal year: Programs, Budget, Fund raising,
Social Activities, etc., were discussed. 

Installation of New Branch Officers for 2008-2009

On May 21, a delightful lawn party was held at member's home
to install the 2008-2009 branch officers, and to celebrate the past
year by recognizing member's achievements and the branch's 
achievement in furthering our mission.
