Colony Days Parade and Tent City
The members of our branch enthusiatically participate in the City's annual "Colony Days Celebration" by marching in the parade as 1920 Suffragettes, dressed in the attire of the era. In Tent City (authentically orchestrated) we re-enact debates regarding Women's Right to Vote. This year we read children's stories written in the era to small children.
